Adam Pavlacka: The original Wolf Among Us is easily Telltale's defining game. Based on the "Fables" comic book series, the game served as both a prequel (for existing fans) and an introduction to the world of Fables for new fans. The visuals were distinctly comic-inspired, while the story used detective noir tropes to explore a murder mystery. We don't yet know the story of the second game, but Bigby is back and looking better than ever, with the game running in Unreal. Top-notch visuals plus a top-notch story. How can you say no?
Cody Medellin: The newly resurrected Telltale Games may have a new game in the form of The Expanse, but many fans are more interested in The Wolf Among Us 2. First canceled when the company went under, it has also been brought back from the dead with some of the same people involved with making the first game. Considering how beloved that title remains to this day, this title will be critical in determining whether the company is really back.
Rhi "StormyDawn" Mitera: Part of me still doesn't believe The Wolf Among Us 2 is really happening. It's been a full decade since the first game came out, and for a while, it looked like we would never get a sequel at all. Wolf Among Us left some pretty big shoes to fill, but everything I've seen so far gives me confidence that WAU2 can fill them. I will happily ride this hype train as long as I need to.
