Chris "Atom" DeAngelus: With Mass Effect 4 likely years out, it's been quite a while since someone has stepped into the sci-fi epic realm that it left behind. Exodus looks to fill that niche by combining Mass Effect-style choices and adventure with realistic time dilation that allows players to see the actual, long-reaching consequences of their actions. If they can pull it off, Exodus could be one of the coolest new IPs on the market.
Tony "OUberLord" Mitera: Look, it's an epic sci-fi game helmed by veterans of the glory days of BioWare, which is really all you need to get me interested in the game. The game trailer that was unveiled at The Game Awards grabbed my attention, as did the game's touted concept of time dilation and the potential for choices and consequences to play out across generations. I am an absolute sucker for this type of game, and the titles made by some of the development folks are some of my all-time favorites.
Rainier Van Autrijve: Sci-fi, action/adventure and RPG — that combination is my Achilles heel. Little is known about Exodus, but it has me excited to no end. While Archetype Entertainment is a brand-new developer, it consists of former devs from 343 Industries (the Mass Effect and Halo inspirations are obvious), BioWare, EA and Naughty Dog, so they have the know-how to pull off something special. Oh yeah, the game has Matthew McConaughey! All right, all right, all right!
