Sins of a Solar Empire will feature several micro-expansions over the next year, starting with Entrenchment which promises to bring fans a Starbase defense platform, turret upgrades to make them more powerful, mine fields and a Subspace Inhibitor platform that will slow enemy ships within its range. European publisher Kalypso Media revealed Entrenchment will be followed by 3 more expansions.

During a Brothers in Arms launch event in Romania theGameCast
interviewed Ubisoft Romania's PR who revealed that after completing Tom Clany's H.A.W.X. the studio is going to work on "the fifth part of a very popular Ubisoft series, a simulators one." Ubisoft Romania has previously worked on Silent Hunter 3 and 4, and being only simulator in their portfolio it is safe to assume a fifth installment in the submarine simulation franchise is coming.
