'Warcraft 3' Expansion Confirmed - Features

A while back the rumors was flooding around about a expansion to Warcraft 3, and today blizzard confirms this upcoming expansion pack.. Here you have the announcement!

Following in the tradition of previous Blizzard expansion sets, Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne provides gamers with a vast new chapter in the epic Warcraft saga. In the single-player campaign, players revisit the war-torn world of Azeroth. Several months have passed since Archimonde and the Burning Legion were defeated at the battle of Mount Hyjal, yet a new threat has arisen throughout the land. The evil Lich King Ner'zhul has been imprisoned inside the Icecrown glacier, deep within the arctic continent of Northrend. Although the former Orc Shaman lacks physical form, his soul lives on, forever seeking a means to escape his icy prison. As the saga continues, it is revealed that both the Night Elf renegade, llidan, and the traitorous Death Knight, Arthas, seek he Icecrown glacier and the mysterious powers found inside. While it is uncertain as to what is being sought inside the icy tomb, players must traverse uncharted lands and battle treacherous new enemies to uncover the schemes of these nefarious beings, and save all of Azeroth from the forces of darkness... Majesco's 'Black & Bruised' (NGC/PS2) Goes Gold

Bringing wacky humor and over-the-top arcade-style boxing to the PlayStation2 and Nintendo GameCube, Majesco today announced that Black & Bruised has gone gold and will ship to stores January 28. Supporting the release of the title is an integrated marketing campaign highlighted by strategic cross-promotions including a national mall tour and in-store kiosks.

'Godzilla: Destroy All Monsters Melee' Coming To Xbox In Spring 2003

Atari is bringing "Godzilla: Destroy All Monsters Melee," a one-to-four player monster-on-monster fighting game, to the Xbox video game system from Microsoft in Spring 2003. Based on the classic movie characters created by Toho Co., Ltd., the game recreates the look and feel of the titanic film legends and challenges players to punch, kick, stomp, throw and blast each other in massive, city-wide arenas. "Godzilla®: Destroy All Monsters Melee," developed by Pipeworks Studios, is currently available on the Xbox.

EA To Develop 'Looney Tunes:Back In Action' (GBA/PS2/NGC)

Warner Bros. Consumer Products announced today an exclusive co-publishing agreement with Electronic Arts to produce, market and distribute Looney Tunes: Back In Action, a video game to be released on multiple platforms with the upcoming live action feature film starring the Looney Tunes characters. The partnership marks the first time Warner Bros. Consumer Products has partnered to co-publish a video game title. UK-based Warthog is developing the game based on the film, which will debut worldwide in November 2003 excluding the UK(debut February 2004)

Europe's top footballers step out onto their virtual club pitches today as Codemasters reveals the first PlayStation 2 in-game images from its forthcoming 15-game Club Football series. The screenshots show star players in action at their home grounds as featured in the unique series of team dedicated games. Two years ago AMC Creation started to work with 'No Name War' (NNW) and its a PC RTS war game with an concept based on combining the RTS with RPG elements. According to player's options, the stress can be moved either on pure real time strategy or on RPG-influenced strategy. The title will be released in Q4 2002.
