Once again, Konami is inviting game players from around the globe to step in to the action-packed world of Metal Gear Solid 2. As of today, players can log on to the Konami JPN website and register to have their name included in the soon-to-be-released Sony PlayStation 2 version of Metal Gear Solid 2: Substance. This DOG TAG Campaign allows players to become a part of the Metal Gear mythos by having their vital stats represented as an in-game soldier. Konami Computer Entertainment Japan (KCEJ) is awaiting the names of those who did not submit their names during the last DOG TAG campaign for "Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty" and those whose names were not picked previously.

The GRIN expedition is back from ECTS and boy, did we have a ball. The GRIN stand was constantly filled with curious gamers and journalists that wanted to try what obviously was a gorgeuos game - the twelve flatscreens shared by four test stations and a huge plasma screen made sure no one made any mistakes about the visual strenght in the game. 'Delta Force - Black Hawk Down' Public MP Demo Coming!

NovaLogic, Ltd. today announced that the official multiplayer demo for Delta Force - Black Hawk Down will be released on Thursday September 5th 2002. The demo will be available for download from www.novalogic.com and a number of key mirror sites. Five people who have changed their names by deed poll to that of a character in a video game in a unique marketing initiative have been revealed today. The five, comprising men and women, have all changed their identities to Turok, the hero character of a new game Turok Evolution being released by Acclaim Entertainment for PlayStation 2, Microsoft Xbox and Nintendo GameCube on September 6th. The new Turoks have completed the legal formalities and instead of being known as Ross Davison, Paul Frederick Codling, Matthew Grist, Andrew Ian Boughflower and Lheila Rebeccah Oberman, will simply be called Turok. Everything from their passports to their telephone bills will now carry their new identities.
