SEGA has reached an alliance agreement with JC Entertainment Corp. in Korea to co-develop and co-publish Shenmue Online. SEGA also has an agreement with T2 Technology Holdings Inc. to allow T2 technology to handle the Chinese online game operation of Shenmue Online. The commercial launch will take place in 2005. SCRAPLAND is an action game. In third-person, the player controls D-Tritus when he goes on foot and his gunship when he pilots on Chimera streets. Merscom Signs 'Project Freedom' and 'Terrorist Takedown'

Merscom LLC today announced an agreement with CITY Interactive to publish three of the developer's PC games in North America: Space Interceptor: Project Freedom, a space arcade combat game, Terrorist Takedown, a military arcade shooter, and WWII Fighter Pilot (previously announced), a flight arcade combat game. All games are value-priced at $19.99 USD and scheduled for Q4 2004 release.

'Neverwinter Nights 2' Announced

Atari, Obsidian Entertainment and BioWare have announced plans for Neverwinter Nights 2, the sequel to BioWare Corp.'s best-selling and genre-defining role-playing game set in the popular Dungeons & Dragons Forgotten Realms universe created by Wizards of the Coast. Atari, Inc. will publish the title.

'Psychonauts' (Xbox) Also Coming To PC

Already hinted at the past few days, but now it's official as Majesco announced today it has secured the worldwide publishing rights to Double Fine's Psychonauts. Already heralded as one of the most original titles in development, Psychonauts will be available next year for the Xbox and, previously un-announced, also the PC.
