Embarrassed by its own lack of quality, Rockstar is working on a fix for the freezing/crashing issues with the X360 version, scheduled for release somewhere next week.

During a Q&A session at the Mix 2008 web developers event, Microsoft Chief Executive Steve Ballmer revealed that the software giant plans to support Sony's Blu-ray HD disk format now that Toshiba's HD-DVD has thrown in the towel. Steve Ballmer said, "... as the industry moves forward, obviously we're going to support Blu-ray in ways that are important. I want to make sure there's the right support. We've already been working on, for example, in Windows device driver support for Blu-ray drives and the like."

Midway released its 2007 and Q1 2008 financial numbers, revealing net revenues are down (from $96.9M to $77.6M), while Q4 losses increased from $2M in 2006 to $29.7M in 2007.
