After a few open beta versions, Garage Games has released a final demo for MaxGaming Technologies’ Dark Horizons: Lore, a fast action FPS style mecha game where the player’s stats will affect the outcome of the war and ultimately write the history of the Dark Horizons universe. Today Midway Games Inc. released its operating results for the three months ended March 31, 2004 and to avoid boring you with all sort of numbers, the short version of it all is that although they still made a loss, it was much smaller than anticipated, mainly due to strong sales of their recently released action-horror game The Suffering (released for PS2/Xbox on March 8th). 'Alias' (PS2/Xbox) Ships To Stores

ABC's hit television series, Alias, is currently available for the PlayStation2 and the Xbox, each at suggested retail prices of $49.99. The game will also be available for the PC later this month at a suggested retail price of $29.99.

Rumoured and revealed by TeamXbox a few weeks ago, today Microsoft Corp. said it would turn to International Business Machines Corp. for microchip technology that it will use in the next version of its popular video game console, the Xbox. Redmond, Washington-based Microsoft, the world's largest software company, used a chip from the No. 1 microprocessor maker, Intel Corp., in the first version of its Xbox, which was released in 2000.
