JoWooD announces that the official website to their forthcoming online tactical military shooter, Söldner: Secret Wars, will be updated today with information on the unique Unit Customisation System feature. Söldner: Secret Wars will revolutionise the traditional 'skins' approach to character and unit customisation featured in other similar games, an approach which often makes customisation a hugely time consuming and technically challenging process.

Ubi Soft Announces 'Harvest Moon' (GBA/NGC) - Screens

Ubi Soft announced today an exclusive agreement with Natsume Inc. to distribute Harvest Moon: A Wonderful Life on the Game Cube and Harvest Moon: Friends of Mineral Town on the GBA. The agreement will cover all PAL territories and is expected to ship on both formats in October 2003. "Ubi Soft is looking forward to distributing the delightful Harvest Moon games later this year. The SWAT: Global Strike Team was founded in 2018 as an international offshoot of the U.S. SWAT organization. Primarily established to supplement the income of the U.S. SWAT establishment, the Global Strike Team contract their personnel and expertise to companies and countries around the world to help “resolve” situations for those who have the funds but not the means to do so. The GST is made up of specially selected SWAT officers and ex-military personnel who have shown the ability to adapt to and overcome any situation they encounter. Like the U.S. SWAT organization, SWAT: GST is a life-saving institution whose mission is to uphold the laws of its operating country, so all efforts must be made to use only necessary force.

Atari Brings 'SuperMan' To NGC/GBA

Atari announced plans to release Superman: Shadow of Apokolips for the Nintendo GameCube and announced the upcoming Superman: Countdown to Apokolips for the Game Boy Advance ­ both titles are scheduled for release in March 2003. Developed by Infogrames’ Sheffield House and based on the Warner Bros. and DC Comics hit animated series, The New Superman Adventures. Superman: Shadow of Apokolips for Nintendo GameCube is a port of the successful version currently available on PS2, and also features voice acting by the original cast, a sweeping orchestral score and more than 30 minutes of stunning cinematics.

Microsoft Game Studios announced today its first baseball title for the Xbox, "Inside Pitch 2003." This Xbox Live enabled title will begin turning double plays, throwing brush back pitches and clearing the fences for the 2003 Major League Baseball season. Nomar Garciaparra will appear on the cover and serve as spokesperson for "Inside Pitch 2003." Joining the All-Star shortstop on the "Inside Pitch 2003" roster is the top broadcast team of Joe Buck and Tim McCarver. Read more for details and screens.

'Toca Race Driver' - Demo Available NOW

Codemasters has just released a new beta demo of Pro Race Driver (a.k.a Toca Race Driver) offering a renewed opportunity to try out this upcoming touring car racing simulation by Codemasters. The demo (courtesy of PC Format magazine and Blackhole Motorsports) lets you test run in a Proton Satria GTi on the Monza track, and a two lap race in a Lexus LS200 around the short (Indy) circuit at Brands Hatch (thanks 3DGamers).
