CDV Announces E3 Line Up

CDV Software Entertainment, one of the leading German publishers and distributors of gaming software, today announces its strongest line-up ever for E3, the biggest trade show for interactive entertainment, being held May 22-24, 2002 at the Los Angeles Convention Center. CDV’s stand will include a gaming zone, with playable code, several conference rooms, and will be located in the Kentia hall of the LA Convention Center.

LucasArts send us a bunch of screens and artwork from their upcoming role playing game (RPG), Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic, that will debut on the Xbox video game system this fall and release on PC early 2003. Developed by BioWare Corp., the dramatic game features an original story set some 4,000 years prior to the timeframe of the Star Wars films in an era dominated by an epic conflict between the Jedi and the evil Sith.

We just recived the news from ANNO 1503 A.D. team about that they updated the King's Tale with Part XVII: Averse Weather and Pyramids. Here follows a snip from the update:

"I hope the chief has pointed us in the right direction. We have been sailing due east for three days and nights - just like he said we should. Blizzard & Vivendi Sued A Internet Service Provider

Blizzard Entertainment, along with its parent company Vivendi Universal Games, late Friday sued a small Internet Service Provider and its owner for distributing free software that emulates Blizzard's free gaming service. The lawsuit claims that the creation and offering of the "bnetd" free software emulator for Blizzard games violates copyright and trademark laws.

'EverQuest' Coming To PlayStation 2

Sony Online Entertainment, a division of the media and electronics conglomerate, said it would release "EverQuest Online Adventure," based on the series of PC online games, for the PS2 next spring. The game will consist of packaged software and a subscription-based online service. Read more here

So i picked up 3DO's Army Men : RTS and plunged myself into the world of toy soldiers ... I used to have those little green toys by the dozens 20 years ago and loved playing with them. I actually never tried any of the previous Army Men games but since this one is a real time strategy game i had to give it a whirl ... Finished the campaign and the battles (aprox 25 missions in all). Check out the screens!
