Electronic Arts' first Wii trivia game Smarty Pants will combine age-targeted trivia with action-based gestures, making it a truly trans-generational game for the Wii.

THQ announced Saints Row 2, which uses Volition's proprietary open-world engine. Saints Row 2 will offer vastly expanded customization options, a totally transformed and expanded city of Stilwater, all new vehicles, sandbox tools and toys as well as both online co-op and competitive multiplayer.

While there has no official announcement yet, THQ confirmed that the next title in the Saints Row franchise is in development at Volition. The Saints Row PS3 port has been canceled in favor of a simultaneous release on both platforms of the sequel. The game will utilize Volition’s proprietary open-world engine and deliver an all-new, cross platform gaming experience.

CoD 4: Modern Warfare is a new action-thriller that will arm gamers with the most advanced and powerful arsenal of modern day firepower to fight a new war in the world’s most treacherous hotspots. Infinity Ward community manager FourTwoZero revealed that the game has reached gold status and has been approved by Sony & Microsoft. An official announcement is expected soon.
