Sony Online Says 'PlanetSide' Holds FPS World Record

Last week, it was reported that another company's title had set a "world record" by having 160 simultaneous players in an online FPS server. Not only is this not a record, it's not even an average play session in PlanetSide, the world's first (and only) MMO first person title.

'D-Day' - Demo Coming Friday & Screens

D-Day is a Tactical game in real-time 3D with highly realistic graphics, dynamic shadows, damage localization, explosions, weather effects etc. The game was developed in collaboration with the Normandy Mémoire association, the official body of the commemoration of the Libération battles. Criterion is working full speed on their latest Burnout 3 edition, but a few months ago at E3 it was also revealed that they are developing a brand new console shooter, "Black."
