Pirates: Adventures of the Black Corsair invites players to become marauding buccaneers in 17th century London. Double-crossed by their pirate Captain and branded traitors to their country, players will face countless perils as they struggle to clear their names and become the most famous of pirates, the Black Corsair – defender of the Crown.

Samurai Shodown Sen is the 11th game in SNK's classic Japanese weapons-based fighting series and the fourth in the 3D series. The game takes place in Japan during the twilight of the turbulent Edo period, and promises to be the most brutal and visceral chapter in the Samurai Shodown series' history.

The next system software update for the PS3 will be released on April 1, 2010, and, citing security concerns, will disable the “Install Other OS” feature that was available on the PS3 systems prior to the current slimmer models, launched in September 2009.

L4D2 promises to set a new benchmark for cooperative action games, adding melee combat to enable deeper cooperative gameplay, with items such as a chainsaw, frying pan, axe, baseball bat, and more. A YouTube video reveals that The Passing DLC (priced at 560 Microsoft Points or $7.00) won't be released before its previously targeted late March, 2010 date but is now set for a rather vague "spring."

Skate 3 features an all-new co-op mode where teammates can complete challenges together while advancing each other's careers. From rewarding epic bails and fails with a beefed up Hall of Meat mode to honing your craft with the all-new Skate School, players of all skill levels have multiple ways to "kill it" in the game. At PAX EA revealed that it will release a Skate 3 demo on April 15, 2010, which will be available on PSN and XBL.

Distant Worlds is a vast, real-time, 4X space strategy game. Experience the full depth and detail of large turn-based strategy games, but with the simplicity and ease of real-time, and on the scale of a massively-multiplayer online game.

Our dinner party last night was a raging success. The initial plan was for a casual get-together with our neighbor, daughter and her future son-in-law, but as mentioned earlier, the number of guests ballooned from five to 10 (and two more showed up during the course of the dinner) because other people just invited themselves as word spread.
