Swedish developer Team Tarsier today revealed the first details from its upcoming next-gen title Metronome, a unique third person adventure game where sound is your weapon. Explore the city of Metronome in search of proof of the Corporations secret agena, while listening for sounds to record. Stargate SG-1: The Alliance will be an action-based game playable in the first- or third- person perspective. Depending on the mission, there will be other tasks that have elements of team tactics, puzzle-solving and stealth. First and foremost, you will never walk alone – your team will be there to look after you, but you will also have to look after them, so it differs from most "straight" shooters.

Quantic Dreams Confirms 'Omikron 2' and 'Infraworld' For PS3/Xbox2/PC

Quantic Dream is finalizing initial design documents for two next-generation projects: Omikron 2, the sequel to Quantic Dream's first PC hit, and Infraworld, a new franchise. Both projects are aimed at X-Box 2, PS3 consoles and for PC and will be developed on Quantic Dream's proprietary next gen' engine. The later will offer enhanced physics capabilities through a recently signed partnership with NOVODEX and a range of action orientated features.
