MonkeyPaw Games, started by Hudson Entertainment President John Greine, announced that at E3 it will unveil its strategy of bringing "culturally different" Japanese games to the Western markets. As part of Hudson, Greine oversaw the launch of the TurboGrafx-16 platform, bringing over many Japanese favorites, stating that "Japan is a mecca of gaming lore and a crypt for many of the best games that MonkeyPaw is going to resurrect."

Nordic Games Publishing announced three brand new editions to its Racer range of games will be on sale this summer; Rally Racer, Drag & Stock Racer and GP Classic Racing

Space Ark is a fun homage to the bright and bouncy arcade games of the late 80s such as Rainbow Island and Arkanoid, with an added mix of Pinball.

Telltale Games has secured the rights to create video games based on two of Universal Pictures’ most popular intellectual properties, Back to the Future and Jurassic Park. The first game released under the agreement will be a Telltale Games “season” based on the successful Back to the Future series of films.

While Guild Wars 2 adds a persistent world, it retains the unique characteristics of the original game, including a strong narrative, extensive instanced game play, an anti-grind design philosophy, and strong support for competitive play.

Without giving many details Valve announced that it is developing a sequel to 2007's puzzler Portal. Portal 2 is a stand-alone, full-price retail release with new gameplay mechanics, storyline, and some surprising new twists.
