All new Xbox Live functionality will be added to the full game enabling up to 12 online gamers to compete head-to-head in the most realistic, most intense and aggressive racing championships seen in any Xbox motorsport game. The game also now includes System Link play for up to 12 consoles. Incredibly, the new dedicated Xbox Live mode unlocks Pro Race Driver's entire range of 42 real touring and sports cars, 12 championships and 38 internationally renowned race circuits and lets gamers race for supremacy in FreeStyle races.

Controlling the battle at sea ultimately leads to a victory in any war, and Enigma: Rising Tide allows gamers to do just that. Battling as one of three factions (US, German or the League of Free Nations) players must control a naval fleet of destroyers, submarines, battleships or cruisers. Each commander must deploy suitable weapons to tackle an ever-evolving enemy, from deploying deck guns and torpedoes to launching hedgehogs, and depth charges. The Bitmap Brothers and award nominated online gurus Nicely Crafted Entertainment (NiCE) have today announced their intention to work together on a number of exciting new products sharing both IP and technology. Through their development joint venture, NiCE and The Bitmap Brothers are exploring new genres for MMOG entertainment as well as creating online versions of existing titles including Chaos Engine and Frontline Command.

As a flagship launch-title, the original Destruction Derby was a powerful demonstration of PlayStation gaming values. Liberating, cathartic and (for its time!) brutally realistic, it freed gamers from the restrictions associated with traditional driving games. Subsequent sequels performed well and added numerous features; total Destruction Derby sales now total 3 million +!! However, by the third incarnation it became clear that the limitations of the PSX were restricting the improvement of the franchise's basic game proposition.

'Termite Games' Pulled Under Project3 Umbrella

Dutch publisher Project Three Interactive today announced that its development studio Termite Games has changed its name to Project Three Interactive Studios AB and is now fully integrated in the Project Three Group. The Swedish outfit became known for its revolutionary new game-engine known as DVA, which was used for the development of the tactical FPS game “NEW WORLD ORDER” for PC, released during winter 2002/spring 2003. Termite kept updating the game and has concluded its work by delivering the very stable and smooth version 1.42 last month (on sale in the UK, France and Germany by the end of August ­ distributed by Bigben Interactive).
