'Project Zero 3: The Tormented' (PS2) Coming To Europe

Take-Two Europe announced today that it has signed a publishing agreement with Tecmo for its PS2 exclusive Project Zero 3: The Tormented, scheduled for Feb. 24th 2006.

Ascaron announced todya that its latest title in the Tortuga franchise has been renamed from Pirate's Revenge to Tortuga: Two Thrones. Ascaron has added additional storywriters to the team, and as a result the game expanded beyond its original boundaries, and so a name change was in order.

NovaLogic Fined For Using Unlicensed Software

The VenturaCountyStar is reporting that per day the Business Software Alliance (BSA) investigates about 700 companies suspected of using unlicensed software. Wednesday the BSA announced it had fined five L.A.-area businesses more than $500,000 for using software for which they did not have licenses, one of those businesses was Delta Force developer NovaLogic Inc (thanks Team AWG).

Sony Claims PS3 Still On Track For Spring 2006 Launch

Despite rampant rumors of delay, Sony said on Thursday that it remained on track to roll out its new PlayStation 3 by spring 2006. The timing is of particular importance, as the PS3 will include Sony's new Blu-ray next-generation DVD technology. Having the console ready simultaneously as the Blu-ray would mean a great advantage, as it provides them with an instant user base.

As the Xbox 360 continues to sell out of stores across the nation, buyers are turning to eBay in an effort to get their hands on the latest craze. In fact, the first week after its launch (Nov 22nd - 28th) Xboxs were selling at an unbelievable rate of 1 every 13 seconds during peak times. Based on Terapeak analysis of eBay data, over $23 million worth of Microsoft Xbox 360s were sold in the first week.

NIS America today announced its PSP exclusive Spectral Souls, in which the player will switch between the three opposing kingdoms to play the Royal Demon Kingdom, the Imperial Army, or the Rebel Army. Depending on how you progress through the game with each of the forces, the story of the game will change.
