'GUN' (ALL) - 60 New Screens

Gun will be a GTA-style game, set in the West in the 1880s, in cities such as Dodge City and New Mexico's Las Vegas. The murderous 'Dodge City Gang' has been on a rampage and you seek revenge, hunting them down between Indians and Mexican pistoleros. Main mode of transportation is any horse you can find or steal, and of course, Gun will include high speed "horse" pursuits.

Electronic Arts Launches 'EA Recordings' Music Label

EA today announced that it is teaming up with Nettwerk Music Group to launch EA Recordings, a digital music distribution label that will bring EA's rich catalogue of wholly-owned musical compositions and remixes to Digital Service Providers (DSPs) worldwide. This initiative will deliver music clips from EA games as ringtones, mastertones or in .mp3 format to online download destinations including Apple iTunes, MSN, Yahoo Music, AOL Music, Rhapsody and others.

Final 'Battleground Europe' Stress Test Starts Today

GMX Media and Cornered Rat Software are pleased to announce that the final Battleground Europe stress test will start today, Friday 4th November, and be open until Monday 6thth November. Battleground Europe recently went to gold status and is set for release across Europe on November 11th 2005.

$250,000 'Best of the Battlefield' Tournament Now Open For SignUps

EA today announced people can sign up for the Best of the Battlefield tournament with a grand prize of $250,000 for the winning team. The online tournament will challenge gamers to rule the battlefield in Battlefield 2: Modern Combat available now for the PS2 and Xbox. Gamers can now register for the online tournament which starts on November 21st.

'Castlevania' Coming To The Big Screen

Crystal Sky Pictures has bought the rights to Konami's Castlevania videogame franchise and has tagged Paul W.S. Anderson (Alien vs. Predator, Res. Evil) to adapt and direct. The Castlevania movie will focus on the origins of Dracula and the uprising of the Belmont Clan, a vampire-slaying family who supposedly become humanity's last hope. Crystal Sky is currently in the post-production stage on Ghost Rider, starring Nicolas Cage and Eva Mendes. Castlevania production is slated to start in mid-2006; no casting has been announced yet.
