Today was a busy day. I used to be a big fan of Faith No More, but they split in 1998, and now more than a decade later, FNM is back on the road. They are going to be in town in April, and of course I want to go see them, and tickets went on sale Sunday morning. Oddly enough, we got a pre-order code, but the show was sold out in minutes, so a second date was added only to sell out equally as quickly. Luckily, a third performance announcement followed shortly, and with some perseverance (and a little luck), we managed to get tickets before they were officially on sale. Sweet!

Later in the afternoon, we went to see The Book of Eli, a very good movie that made me think of Fallout throughout, and as usual, it was an excellent performance by Denzel Washington. On our way back home, we stopped by the Apple store to get my iPod fixed, but apparently paying out the nose for their hardware doesn't include decent customer service because you have to make an appointment first before they'll help you. We head back next weekend to see if the iPod is salvageable. Fingers crossed!

In R.U.S.E. players use their brain as the ultimate weapon, fighting a war of perception, where the ability to deceive and mislead the enemy determines success. A first in a strategy game, R.U.S.E. reinvigorates the genre by using deception to give new-found depth to the gameplay.

Mars is a Sci-fi RPG action game that innovatively merges character development and light and rhythmic fights. it takes you on a journey deep into an original futuristic universe and presents you with scenarios dealing with difference, racism and environment. Spiders' Jehanne Rousseau revealed that the economic downtown has forced the new development studio to put the game on hold in order to focus on quick/money making smaller XBL/Wiiware/PSN games.

Stargate Resistance is a fast-paced and deadly 3rd person shooter for control of the entire galaxy! The arrogant System Lords believe they are the true masters of the universe, and have begun a savage campaign to dominate and enslave the known worlds.

We made it back home safely from the concert, and it was quite fun. The opening act was Attitude Adjustment, some hardcore/punk band that wasn't very interesting, but Anvil was good! I picked up a new t-shirt and had it signed by the band, which in retrospect is a bit whack. Now I can't wear it since I won't want to wash off the autographs.

Later today, we are finally going to see The Book of Eli and hopefully stop by the Apple store to get my ipod fixed. Listening to the radio sucks.

Championship Manager Online is a stand-alone massive multiplayer online football management simulation based on the franchise with the same name. Launched in 2005, Eidos has decided to shut down the game on April 30, much to the dismay of the developer and fans, launching a facebook petition to try and save the game.

The fifth title in the franchise, Yakuza 4 is currently only scheduled for release in Japan. As in previous installments Yakuza 4 features famous musicians to create tunes for the game and a slew of top name actors in the game, but this time not just lending their voice, but also as 3D models using the latest motion capture technology.
