Playstation 2 Reaches 100 Million Units Sold Milestone

SCEI announced today that cumulative worldwide shipment of PS2s had reached 100 million units, within 5 years and 9 months since its launch in Japan in March 2000. Previous record was set by PSOne which reached the same mark in 9 years and 6 months since launch, thus making the PS2 3 years ahead of schedule.

Epiphany Games Working on Xbox 360 MMO

Epiphany Games are inviting Xbox and X360 gamers worldwide to participate in a series of surveys that will be released in the coming months on a regular basis. A new survey will be published every month to offer console gamers the chance to add their input into developing an MMORPG.

NIMF Protests Cannibalism in Video Games

This is starting to get boring! This holiday season, NIMF says it has found a bloody new wrinkle to hate: cannibalism. Compiling a list of 12 titles to avoid, F.E.A.R. and Stubbs the Zombie in Rebel Without a Pulse are apparently their latest targets. Sen. Joe Lieberman says cannibalism is dangerous to your children's health. Really?
