Confirming rumors that surfaced earlier this week, at a press event in Tokyo, Nintendo unveiled a new version of the Nintendo DS, the NDSiLL. Scheduled to launch in Japan next month already (Nov. 21) the new handheld sports a 4.2 inch screen (a 93% increase over the old version), and will retail for ¥20,000 ($220 USD).

Fret Nice harmonizes the unity between music and the 2D platformer. As you control your character through the artful stages, you play the game as if it were a jammin’ rock song. Rock out by blasting enemies with riff combos and creating your own soundtracks with each “strum” of a chord. Each time a stage is repeated, you will have an ever-changing experience.

In Wallace & Gromit's Grand Adventures, you assume the roles of both Wallace and Gromit, and spend each episode exploring a vivid world, assembling intricate contraptions, and getting the duo out of the sticky situations they frequently find themselves in.

It was a rather quiet evening at our place. We played some CrimeCraft and Zuma's Revenge (finished the main adventure mode, now on to the unlockables) and then stuffed ourselves with homemade tacos. As Ricky likes to say, "Those tacos hit me hard," which resulted in us falling asleep 15 minutes into watching a new episode of Flashpoint. Yea, we're troopers all right ....

SOCOM: Fireteam Bravo 3 lets you join forces with like-minded players to tackle an adventure of realistic military action, tactics and teamwork wherever and whenever you want. Originally scheduled for Nov. 24, SCEA has pushed the release into 2010 in order to give the marketing team more time.
