Rayman 3 Hoodlum Havoc will feature many brand new game elements. Its action-adventure format will be familiar to many, but advanced combat will form the heart of this latest installment. Rayman will have a range of new movements and powers including, Shock Rockets, the Lockjaw, Vortex Fist and he will certainly need them as he comes up against over 20 powerful enemies, including the savage Hoodlum tribe. The new in-game combat systems will also ensure players use their brains, with each enemy having individual strengths and attack strategies, and will only be defeated by using the correct combination of fighting techniques.

Konami of America, Inc. announced today that Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow has shipped to retail outlets nationwide. From the creators of the critically acclaimed Castelvania: Symphony of the Night for PlayStation, and last year's handheld game of the year, Castlevania: Harmony of Dissonance, Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow is the 16th U.S. video game release in the 17-year-old series and marks the franchise's third installment on the Nintendo Game Boy Advance.

Vivendi Universal Games announced today that Kent, England-based Pocket Studios is developing the handheld video game The Incredible Hulk for GBA. The video game is based on the enormously popular original Marvel classic comic book series The Incredible Hulk. Players must guide the Hulk through six destructible worlds including military compounds, barren deserts, subterranean cities, underground caves, and earth's distant future. Atari is bringing all of the action and intrigue of the Hollywood stuntman to the Nintendo Game Boy Advance with Stuntman, the handheld follow-up to the smash PlayStation 2 hit of the same name. Developed by the same team that created the graphically amazing V-Rally 3 for Game Boy Advance, Stuntman is scheduled for release in June 2003.

Vivendi Universal Games announced today that the next installment in the best-selling Spyro the Dragon video game franchise, Spyro: Attack of the Rhynocs is scheduled for release on the Game Boy Advance in fourth quarter 2003. Nintendo of America Inc. and Square Enix today announced three new titles in the incomparable 'Final Fantasy' and 'Mana' game series will be published and distributed by Nintendo of America Inc. for exclusive play on Nintendo platforms. THQ Inc. today announced that THQ will publish LEGO Interactive titles for the Game Boy Advance in Europe and Asia Pacific. THQ will be developing and publishing titles based on the LEGO universe, including Drome Racers and BionicleTM. Nintendo of Japan has announced that it will launch a new battery pack for the GBA SP in mid-May, which will apparently deliver 75 per cent more play time than the original pack. The new battery will go on sale on May 17, priced at 1980 Yen (just short of £10), and has a capacity of 1000mA - giving GBA SP owners 17.5 hours of backlit play time.
