Phantom "the ghost who walks" and Mandrake "shadow of the vehme" are two GBA games, based on the omonimous Lee Falk's worldwide reknown comic heroes. In Phantom, the masked hero will have to face a great threat for the isle of Bangalla: a big business firm has set some research sites in the jungle to manage a series of genetic tests and pharmaceutical products synthesis. But some dangerous sabotages occur, and some workers of the company are murdered together with young guys of the "Bandar" tribe working as guides in the research sites.

Atari today announced the release of Superman: Shadow of Apokolips for the Nintendo GameCube and Superman: Countdown to Apokolips for the Game Boy Advance. Developed by Infogrames’ Sheffield House and based on the Warner Bros. and DC Comics hit animated series, The New Superman Adventures. Superman: Shadow of Apokolips for Nintendo GameCube is a port of the successful version currently available on PlayStation2, and also features voice acting by the original cast, a sweeping orchestral score and more than 30 minutes of stunning cinematics.

Activision and Disney Interactive today announced a new video game that gives skateboarding a magical twist. Designed to appeal to children and teens ages 6 – 14, Disney’s Extreme Skate Adventure will use cutting-edge technology from Activision’s latest Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 4 engine to allow characters from three beloved animated films: Walt Disney Pictures’ presentation of Pixar Animation Studios’ “Toy Story 2,” “Disney’s Tarzan” and “Disney’s The Lion King” to skateboard just like the pros in their respective worlds for the first time. In addition to these characters, the new game includes a Create-A-Skater option where players can customize a youthful skater’s “look” by selecting clothing and accessories. Based upon the widely popular Comedy Central television show, BattleBots is the sport of remote-controlled robotic combat. On the show, contestants design robots to compete in a fast-paced, ruthless competition to see who can destroy their opponent's robot first. In addition to designing a superior robot, contestants need to be skilled at controlling their BattleBot and use deft maneuvering techniques in order to avoid hazards and do the most damage to their opponent. The entire contest takes place in a steel encasement called the BattleBoxTM, which is designed for maximum safety on the outside and supreme torture on the inside.
