The highly anticipated Dungeons & Dragons(R) computer game has been rated “T” for Teen by the ESRB and has a suggested retail price of $59.99.

'Divine Divinity' - Prequel Story

The much anticipated RPG Divine Divinity will be released in the UK on 13th September 2002. For those of you who can’t wait, the first chapter of the prequel story is now online HERE. The story has been split into six parts, with a new instalment being posted every Tuesday. The prequel story takes you through the origins of the Lord of Chaos. It also introduces the Sword of Lies, which the player will eventually come across in the full game.

PaGTech, a new independent game development studio, today announced its first title: Scarlet Waves. Scarlet Waves will be a turn-based strategy game in which players will create and customize their pirate fleet to fight against the computer or other players. The game will be released this summer and will be distributed online. "Scarlet Waves will bring some fresh air in the turn-based strategy genre. It is simple to learn, yet hard to master and is great fun to play," said Pierre-Alexandre Garneau, PaGTech's founder.

Just noticed over at Blues that the official Battlefield 1942 site announces plans for a beta test of Battlefield 1942, EA's hybrid 3D action game that's nearing completion at Digital Illusions. The sparse page specifies a few system requirements, provides an email address for interested players to submit their apparently rather freeform application, and 50 beta testers will be selected from those who enter.
