Not that this came as a surprise but Blizzard just announced that Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos is now available at retailers worldwide. With initial orders of over 4.5 million copies, the release of Warcraft III represents the biggest worldwide launch in PC-gaming history. "We're really excited that people are now able to pick up a copy of Warcraft III and start playing the complete game," stated Mike Morhaime, Blizzard Entertainment president and co-founder. "We hope players will enjoy what they see, and we look forward to hearing their thoughts about the game."

Strategy First just let us know that they have come up with a new patch for Patrician II. There are 2 seperate patches, one for the US/UK version (upgrading Patrician II to v1.1) and one for the Dutch version (updating Patrician II to v1.2). 3DGamers today tossed up the long-promised playable demo (65MB) of
Imperium Galactica III: Genesis. This demo offering you to try out this space strategy game that is in the works at Philos Entertainment. The demo contains one mission from the full game and "was especially developed for use with the new Matrox Parphelia graphics card, but also runs on any other modern 3D graphics accelerator board."
