'Homeplanet' - Add-on Development Progress Report

The work on Homeplanet add-on is in full swing ! Game-designers are finishing missions and the project is coming up to its release swiftly. At the moment the work on visual effects are almost completed and currently they are testing and fixing bugs. 3Map Games recognizes the interest and attention to the sound-track of original Homeplanet so they try to follow this tradition in the add-on as professional actors are recording the speech roles. And the musical part is created by one of the original Homeplanet track authors. The insonification is quite close to finish for now. Finally, the long-awaited multiplayer mode is in testing and quite functional at this point. So lots of Homeplanet players will finally have an opportunity to play its LAN and internet versions soon. 3Map Games will put up a development report every few weeks, you can check it on their website.

Interplay sent out notice that they have shipped Fallout: Brotherhood Of Steel to retail stores for PlayStation 2 and Xbox.Developed by Black Isle Studios, Fallout: Brotherhood Of Steel marks the series debut on consoles, and has players set in a post-apocalyptic wasteland; while fighting off mutants. Fallout: Brotherhood Of Steel has weapons such as the “Flamer” and 9MM SMG, and the other day Interplay announced the soundtrack featuring music from : Slipknot, Meshuggah, Killswitch Engage, Chimaira, Devin Townsend, Strapping Young Lad, Skinlab, Society 1, Matt Zane, Cult of Luna, Celldweller, and Craig "Stuart" Garfinkle. Valve Partners With Limelight Networks To Support 'Steam'

Codemasters has won the global publishing rights to Soldiers: Heroes of World War II (previously known as Outfront): a dramatic, fast-paced tactical strategy game, due summer 2004 exclusively for PC. Created by Ukrainian company Best Way, under the development title of "OutFront", Soldiers is a further signing for Codemasters from 1C Company. Xbox Preview - 'Dinosaur Hunting'

Dinosaur Hunting features four teams, each with their own unique characters. Equipped with a variety of weapons, including a handgun, shotgun or rifle, players shoot a variety of dinosaur targets, which they must hunt down and tranquilize to save the species. Players explore the Guiana Highlands as they gather knowledge about the dinosaurs and their environments, including theories about dinosaur history. Combining elements of reality and fantasy, Dinosaur Hunting combines educational pre-historic dinosaur history, unique dinosaur characters and 3-dimensional character design.
