UK trade magazine MCV claims to have received word from an insider that Activision snagged the rights to develop a game based on DreamWorks Studios' upcoming The Transformers animated movie. Given the trackrecord of the two companies, Shrek 2, Madagascar, A Shark's Tale, and various other titles, this might not be too far fetched. The source said "Activision picked up the rights to Transformers last year and has already set a top US studio to work on the project," but Activision refuses to comment on rumors.

Earlier this year we reported that EALA was already working on the next installment in the MoH franchise for nearly six months. The new title will be a Band of Brothers (or Brothers in Arms) type title, but more importantly, it was mentioned that Airborne would be a PS3 launch title. LAter on it was also revealed to be coming to Xbox 360, and now word is spreading that various Pc oriented print magazine are having cover articles that MoH Airborne is also coming to the PC, preliminary retail listings have it scheduled for November 2006.
