Valve's SteamPowered website has been updated with details regarding the latest major update to its Source Engine SDK. This update adds support for editing Day of Defeat Source, High Dynamic Range lighting support and new Hammer Editor features. Just restart Steam for the effects to take place.

Sony still has not revised its April 2006 PS3 launch date, but analysts are starting to doubt the next-gen console will make it, saying instead that a late 2006 release would be more likely.
