From Software's Tenchu DS will feature aprox. 60 missions in which you have to get past obstacles by using various environmental objects. Various multiplayer modes for up to 4 players will be available, and prices for objects can be negotiated amongst the players. The bottom screen will be used for inventory, map and also to perform specific combos by using the stylus.

Playlogic today announced that its in-house studio, Playlogic Game Factory, signed a first-party development agreement with Sony Computer Entertainment Europe. Currently Playlogic has 11 games on 16 platforms under development, and one of the two in-house teams will develop the yet undisclosed project.

Today SCEI revealed it is working on yet another title in the Ape Escape franchise. While details about Ape Escape: Million Monkeys are slim, it apparently does take place in real-world environments, such as Yokohama. Scheduled for spring 2006 release in Japan, no official announcement or release date for other territories has been announced.
Serph, leader of the Embryon, wanders aimlessly through the lifeless streets before him. In the Junkyard, his Tribe fought a gruesome war, hoping the light of Heaven would relieve their suffering. In the end, Serph's world vanished, along with the comrades who stood by him. All that awaited him in Nirvana were endless streets littered with the silent remains of human statues. At its PlayStation business briefing in Tokyo Sony's Ken Kutaragi confirmed that the PlayStation 3 is coming in November 2006, plans for a worldwide launch with an initial availability of 6 million units, and an additional million units each month thereafter. Taking aim at Microsoft's Xbox Live, Sony plans for a similar online service (including lobby, voicechat etc.) with the basic formula being free. All PS2 and PSOne titles will be compatible and playable in HD. A price estimate for the console, or its titles, was not disclosed.
