Bungie Studios has joined forces with Marvel Comics to release a graphic novel inspired by one of the most popular franchises in the history of the video game industry. The universe of the Xbox phenomenon Halo will be brought to life for the first time in comic form via the Halo Graphic Novel (HGN), a 128 page full-color jacketed hardcover book with an anticipated July 2006 release.

community update made by EA's Executive Producer Mike Verdu reveals that the Battle for Middle-earth II v1.02 patch is scheduled for next week and will address a multiplayer crash, two out of sync issues, and the problem with how games were reporting ladder results and stats incorrectly, so the ladders once 1.02 goes live. Mike also reports that server hardware has been replaced so the recent server outages should be a thing of the past.
