An update on Strangelite's website reveals that the Starship Troopers developer is now part of the Rebellion group of studios and is working with Rebellion on two FPS titles on PC and console, one of them a brand new IP.

Today 3D Realms posted their latest installment in the weekly Prey update in which Human Head Studios Chris Rhinehart tells us all about the latest feature, GDC expereince, feature requests from 3DR and fixing bugs, plans for E3, explaining the QA process, and an updated changelog of items added/removed in the game.

EA will celebrate the 2006 FIFA World Cup Germany with the launch of the event's only officially licensed videogame, 2006 FIFA World Cup. The videogame will ship on all platforms including X360 in April 2006 in anticipation of the real-world tournament which begins in June.

Brian Kopp, author of The Ultimate World of Warcraft Leveling & Gold Guide, filed a lawsuit against Blizzard, Vivendi and the ESA for attempting to stop him his guide, according to CNET. Blizzard had his eBay account blocked, twice, claiming trademark and copyright infringement issues. With his countersuit Brian is looking for monetary compensation; an injunction preventing the entities from interfering with his sales; and a judgment that his book is protected by the First Amendment and doesn't interfere with intellectual-property rights.
