While Activision has just released a Spider-Man 3 game to coincide with the theatrical movie release, it seems that is not all what's in store for the web slinging hero. A freshly launched teaser website reveals Spider-Man: Friend or Foe, without any mention of release date or platform, only "A new twist on the legend; a new take on the movies." The Last Remnant is Square Enix's latest RPG game, powered by the Unreal Engine 3, to be officially announced later this week at the Square-Enix Party. This single-player only title is scheduled to be released in Japan and North America simultaneously, with two main characters, each one appealing to a specific territory.

In late 2005, EA announced it had signed a license agreement with Fox Television allowing it to develop games based on the popular Simpsons cartoon series, and it seems we may finally see the results. According to a countdown clock on the freshly launched teaser site, EA will announce the 22nd title in the franchise since 1989, on Wednesday at noon, the same day it is having its Summer preview event, which we are scheduled to attend, so stay tuned...

The banned accounts were taking part in activities that violate the game's Terms of Use, including using third-party programs to farm gold and items, which severely impacts the economy of a realm and the overall game enjoyment for all players.

PlayStation Network is Going Down

Sony Europe announced that on May 8th, 2007, its PlayStation Network will be temporarily going down for approximately 3 hours, from 17h to 20h, for maintenance. People who are actively playing games at that time will be able to proceed, but connecting between 17h and 20h will not be possible.

Microsoft Expects Xbox to Turn a Profit in 2008
