Brazil Bans 'Counter-Strike' and 'EverQuest'

Back in October 2007 Brazilian federal court ordered a ban on Counter-Strike and EverQuest, claiming they incited violence, are addictive as drugs according to some psychologists and thus deemed harmful to consumers' health, but judge Carlos Alberto Simoes' ruling was only implemented until earlier this week. A region specific version of CS allows players to take on the perspective of either a police officer or a narcotrafficker in Rio de Janeiro's infamously crime-ridden slums.

'S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Clear Sky' - New Screens

Reports have come in that Gamestop & EBGames have been notified the PS3 version is canceled, listings seem to have been removed from their respective web sites, and admins on the Kaos Studios forums are not denying it.

LEGO Batman features all of the characters from the LEGO Batman construction sets, plus a few new additions. Gamers will have the ability to roam the streets of LEGO Gotham City as Batman or Robin, and even take control of the villains while manipulating gadgets and building and operating fantastic vehicles in one- or two-person co-op gameplay.

18. 'Ghostbusters: The Videogame' (NDS/Wii/PS2/PS3/X360/PC)

All four members of the movie team (Dan Aykroyd, Ernie Hudson, Bill Murray and Harold Ramis) will lend their voices and likenesses to the game, which is set in the '90s after Ghostbusters II. Equipped with a variety of unique weapons and gadgets, players will hunt, fight and capture a wide range of supernatural villains in a funny and frightening battle to save New York City from its latest paranormal plague.

17. 'Devil May Cry 4' (PS3/X360/PC)

In Devil May Cry 4 Capcom's gun-slinging demon hunter Dante is back, but this fourth chapter introduces a new hero, Nero, who possesses a demonic arm that can pull in enemies or use them as projectiles.

Hawk as well as all-new characters such as the mysterious and deadly female fighter, Juri.
