Madden NFL 09 marks the 20th anniversary of the franchises, and the game will feature adaptable gameplay tailored to every type of gamer, online enhancements and a broadcast style presentation delivering an authentic NFL experience.

A study by an Australian consumer agency revealed that videogame consoles and plasma flat-screen TVs are power hungry appliances, even when they are on stand-by. While Ubisoft is working on its cel-shaded Prince of Persia Prodigy, CEO Yves Guillemot revealed that it is also developing a game based on the upcoming Disney movie (starring Jake Gyllenhaal and Gemma Artertonas) which in turn is based on PoP: Sands of Time. Ninja Gaiden II developer Tomonobu Itagaki, also know for the Dead or Alive series, has decided to leave Tecmo and pursue other opportunities. On his way out Itagaki has filed lawsuit against Tecmo for unpaid completion bonuses, unreasonable and disingenuous statements, claiming damages in total of 148 million yen.
