A leaked Blockbuster memo reveals that it will be dropping the price of the discontinued 40GB PS3 model from $360 to $299. Microsoft's Xbox 360 continues its momentum in Japan and for the second week in a row outsells Sony's PS3. While the NDS remains king, the Wii regains the lead amongst the current gen consoles with 29,921 units sold, while the X360 outpaced the PS3 with 13,777 vs. 8,156 console. The recent price drop and the one-two punch with Infinite Undiscovery and Tales of Vesperia are surely the cause of the sales surge.
