We're not sure if it had any effect on the public-facing part of the site, but during the past week or so, we suddenly started having some issues with the CMS. For some reason, the Web server was timing out and not responding anymore. After a few changes that improved things but didn't fix the issue, Ricky decided to use a new, experimental Web server — the same tech that Facebook uses — and not only did it resolve the problem, but the back-end is also noticeably much faster.
