Using a new technology called the Pollux Engine, Square Enix has created a true cross-platform game as it will be identical on both NDS and Wii. Use the stylus to control your character on the NDS while the Wiimote will mimic the same actions on the Wii. Capcom teased that it would unveil a new title through a trailer on Xbox Live, and keeping true to its word, Lost Planet 2 has been revealed. Using its multiplatform MT-FrameWork 2.0, LP2 will be told from the perspective of various Snow Pirate factions, unlike Lost Planet. Set 10 years after the original, a climate change has melted the snow covered landscape, and created new environments such as jungles. LP2 will feature co-op, turret toting Mechs and Gears of War 2-like portable cover/shields.
