Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, sequel to Naughty Dog's 2007 PS3-exclusive action/adventure game, revolves around 13th century explorer Marco Polo, putting the focus on story, stealth gameplay and a free climbing mechanic.

While official word was scheduled for tomorrow, script writer Rob Yescombe spilled the beans early as he confirmed that the Crysis developer has acquired Free Radical. Known for its Timesplitters series and most recently Ubisoft's HAZE, the UK-based studio got itself in a spat of trouble last year and was forced to close down. Whether Crytek bought the studio only for its assets/IP or will let it restart and rehire, is unclear at this point. More details to come tomorrow ....

Zen Studios announced The Punisher: No Mercy coming exclusively to PlayStation Network. EA's Q3 2008 financial results reveal a slight increase in revenue, but higher than expected expenses and losses on investments resulted in a $641 million net loss, compared to 2007's $33 million.
