Syberia 3 takes Kate on an adventure which mixes suspense, myth, ecology and action. She crosses paths with a weird Vic McPherson who is investigating the murky business of international trafficking of ancient works of art and prehistoric ivory. On April 1st Microids announced Syberia 3 would be coming to PC and PS3, which turned out to be a semi April Fools joke. While the game is in development, SCEA has been giving Microids the cold should despite SCEE's approval of previous Syberia titles, leaving it up to Sony whether the newest installment will actually be on the PS3.

Using a new technology called the Pollux Engine, Square Enix has created a true cross-platform game as it will be identical on both NDS and Wii. Use the stylus to control your character on the NDS while the Wiimote will mimic the same actions on the Wii. The game requires only one copy of the game to work on both systems and will be multiplayer compatible on both platforms.

Founders of the Pirate Bay BitTorrent Web site have been
found guilty of assisting in making copyright content available. Carl Lundström, Fredrik Neij, Peter Sunde and Gottfrid Svartholm were each sentenced to a year in prison and must pay a total of $3,620,000 in damages. Sunde revealed he will appeal the court ruling and will continue operating the Pirate Bay site.
