Back in 2003, Universal Pictures obtained an option to the rights to develop Midway's classic 1980s Spy Hunter videogame into a motion picture, to be directed by John Woo starring Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, a project that was eventually scrapped due to budget reasons. Last year Warner Bros. acquired most of the assets from the bankrupt Midway, so now it hopes to revive the movie project and has tapped Chad St. John to write the script for a feature adaptation.

Nintendo is already planning a successor to the NDS, even though the next version of the NDS hasn't even been released yet. It's scheduled for early 2011, and I wonder how many people are simply going to wait until then to get that version instead of the NDSiXL. I know that I would, if I were a handheld gaming fan ....

On our neighbor's recommendation, we watched Good Hair, a documentary by Chris Rock exploring the "wonders" of African-American hairstyles. Quite an eye opener and sure to raise more than a few eyebrows.
