TDK Mediactive Announces Game Boy® Advance Enhancements for "Wendy™: Every Witch Way™" Side-Scrolling Adventure for Game Boy Color to Feature Three Game Boy Advance Levels

TDK Mediactive, Inc. (OTC: TDKM.OB), a global publisher of entertainment software, announced today that "Wendy™ : Every Witch Way(tm)" for the Game Boy® Color system will feature a special world playable only on Game Boy® Advance. The world will feature three exclusive levels and a secret code that can unlock full firepower throughout the entire game on both systems. The side-scrolling action/adventure game featuring the smart and sassy Wendy the Good Witch is scheduled to ship this August.

About "Wendy: Every Witch Way":
After accidentally reversing gravity, Wendy rushes to set things straight by recovering four little Moon Stones hidden in Moon Stone Castle. With her magic wand and powers of gravity-reversal, she must confront 21 different enemies through twelve standard levels, three bonus Flying Broom levels, and the final boss level. Also included are three special levels playable only on the Game Boy Advance system. The good witch explores the standard and special levels on foot and takes to the air on her broomstick for the bonus levels, all the while zapping spooky enemies with her wand and dodging objects that fall to the ground or float to the ceiling when gravity reverses. Finally, she must face the evil Warlock of Moon Stone Castle in an intense battle of magical moonstone missiles.

Whimsical "Wendy" features the following:

  • Twelve standard levels: Halls, Gardens, Dungeons and Towers
  • Three flying broom bonus levels
  • Three Game Boy Advance levels
  • 21 different enemies
  • Five versions of firepower
  • Unlimited full attack feature that can only be unlocked on the Game Boy Advance
  • Unique gravity reversal feature
  • Based on the popular Wendy character from television and comic books

In 2000, TDK Mediactive and Hearst Entertainment, licensing agent for The Harvey Entertainment Company, signed a five-year worldwide exclusive agreement to develop and publish Wendy the Good Witch games. The agreement provides rights for titles on PlayStation®, PlayStation®2, Game Boy® Color, Game Boy® Advance, GameCube™, and other next generation platforms. "Wendy : Every Witch Way" for the Game Boy Color system is the first product released under this agreement.
