'Robot Alchemic Drive' (PS2) - Trailer

by Rainier on Nov. 1, 2002 @ 9:37 p.m. PST

You've been practicing. Long nights; longer weekends. But now you've fully mastered the control of 75 tons of high-tensile robot in Enix's Robot Alchemic Drive (R.A.D.) PS2 game and you are primed to slug your way to victory over colossal opponents in brutal hand-to-hand combat. But Enix has taken the slug-a-thon one step further and incorporated a two-player Versus Mode. Now, in addition to venting your frustrations on the game's extremely smart AI robots, you can also throw down the gauntlet of challenge to your friends, who, if they are anything like ours, are probably not as smart as the in-game robots. Read more and check the trailer to see some pounding 2 player action !

Of course, you don't need a friend to enjoy flattening entire levels, but what's better than watching them slink home in defeat? Adding a subtle twist to the two-player mode is access to hidden characters and areas. If you're good enough in single-player, you can unlock the enemy, Volgara, and smash up secret areas like Ancient Rome.
