Highland Warriors: The MacDonald's - Screens

by Rainier on Dec. 2, 2002 @ 6:25 p.m. PST

Highland WarriorsTM is the epic story of bloody feuds, Scottish patriotism and English Invaders begins with the original founding of Scotland around 850 AD and peaks with the fight for independence during the 13th / 14th century. Play as one of three Scottish clans or risk your life for the British Crown in 35 historically founded missions. Highland Warriors also supports up to eight players through the Internet or LAN. Today we serve up some screens from another clan featured in Highland Warriors, The MacDonald's! Njoy!

The MacDonalds live in the southeastern Scotland, are economically oriented and are considered the most civilized clan in Scotland. They would rather negotiate than fight, but if pushed to the brink, they’re fierce in battle. Since their primary focus is commercial activities, the MacDonalds have very few soldiers of their own and often hire mercenaries for battle. But their military power should not be underestimated -- their economic power affords them the finest troops and weapons available.

This clan's civilian units have short-cropped hair while their combat units prefer to look more wild and adventurous by plaiting their long brown manes. Due to their proximity to England, they wear similar clothing and armor to the English soldiers.
