The latest installment, "Dead Or Alive 3," was a bestseller for the Xbox when it was released November 15th, 2001. The series debuted with "Dead or Alive" for arcade and PlayStation game console. "Dead or Alive 2" was published on the Sega Dreamcast video game console. "DOA2: Hardcore" was one of the premiere titles at the launch of the PlayStation 2 computer entertainment system.
