Infogrames Wins Maki Awards

by Rainier on April 16, 2002 @ 4:33 p.m. PDT

Last Wednesday April 10, the Maki Awards for the best Dutch software for children were presented. The presentation of these general awards is an initiative of Maki.nl, a well-known site on software for children and internet for parents and school.
In the class "Games for the age group 0 to 7 years olds" Putt-Putt in the Circus won. The jury found Putt-Putt to be an "expertly made and attractive game for a broad age group and extremely user-friendly. They furthermore stated that this Putt-Putt adventure "is just as charming in appearance and just as professional as the very popular other Putt-Putt titles".

In the class software for children, "Games for the age group 6 to 10 years olds", the winner was Pajama Sam 3: You Are what you eat, so Know what you eat.
The jury described the game as "a game that remains entertaining for a long time and can be quite challenging at times. Very appealing." "The enchanting little boy Pajama Sam is very amusing again, with charming riddles and appealing characters". The jury finds that the game offers an excellent opportunity to discuss the food they eat with children. Children will have to combine a lot of information and think logically to bring the adventure to a happy end, according to the jury.

Infogrames is enthusiastic about the awards for these two titles from the very successful Humongous series, that also includes Freddi Fish and Spy Fox
