Richard Arnesen, of Shrapnel Games, stated, "It is unfortunate that we have had to push the Gold date back, but it will give us additional time to add more features and tweaks to the gaming system. The folks we have brought in to help finish the game have been able to enhance the 101 gaming engine much more than we originally hoped. Due to these talented folks work we have decided to err on the side of giving our customers as many new goodies as possible."
Tim Brooks, President of Shrapnel Games, said " In addition to what Richard said, we have other exciting projects here at Shrapnel that have pushed the delay back as well. In early May expect the biggest announcement in the history of Shrapnel Games. Heck even Sarge is excited, and that's no easy task!"
Among the additional features added to All American: The 82nd Airborne in Normandy are Multiple Screen Resolutions, 24 Bit Color, two group move actions, sneakier German snipers, with much more to come!
Shrapnel Games is now accepting pre-orders for All American and have extended the Pre-order special until June 1, 2002. Those that order by June 1 will receive $5.00 off the retail price of $44.95. All American can be pre-ordered from Shrapnel Games.
