The news comes after Babel's successful foray into editorial services with Nintendo's Game Boy Advance website and comes shortly before the official European launch of the GameCube console.
Babel is now a fully fledged outsourcer for the games industry. Its four years' experience of localisation and translation work is now augmented by interactive TV and web production. Earlier this year, the company also launched the world's first handheld compatibility lab aimed specifically at wireless gaming.

Babel's editorial and translation expertise will prove invaluable in bringing the site's wide variety of stimulating content - including news, game reviews, and a weekly newsletter - to all European gamers."
Since June 2001, Babel has been in charge of all language translation sites for the Game Boy Advance site and has already translated content into English, French, German, Spanish and Dutch. The website is now one of the world's most popular gaming sites.
Headed by Dominic Mason, Babel's Nintendo editorial team will provide content on a regular basis for the site. This content, which will range from news, reviews and interviews, will then be simultaneously translated into four European languages for the NINTENDO GAMECUBE website.
