"Creative Capers' rich Hollywood experience is apparent from the opening shot of this retro-styled game," said Got Game Entertainment president, Howard Horowitz. "Adam Blaster: Atomic Enforcer provides casual gamers with the perfect blend of film-quality production and fun, easy to learn gameplay."
The game begins under the shadow of a mystery. The hero (and player), Adam Blaster, regains consciousness within the confines of a galactic prison colony unsure of the events that have landed him in this predicament. As an enforcer trapped in prison, the player is immediately thrown into conflict, caught between the cold threat of robotic guards and the loathing of fellow inmates who find themselves in prison because of enforcers like the player. The player must stage a jailbreak, defeat the warden, recover his ship and return to Atomic Enforcer Headquarters, only to find out that he has been declared renegade, having allegedly accepted a bribe for the release of several intergalactic fugitives. The player's only hope of proving Adam Blaster's innocence is to track down the escaped prisoners in an action-filled adventure that covers the remote corners of the Quad Galactic Alliance.
Gameplay focuses on Adam Blaster tracking and capturing intergalactic criminals. The player travels the Quad Galaxies searching for information leading to the whereabouts of the escaped fugitives. Upon landing in a local system, the player must travel on foot to track down the exact location of each fugitive. With the aid of an extensive arsenal of weapons and technology, the fugitive must be apprehended and returned relatively undamaged to collect the maximum reward.
As part of the challenge in capturing the fugitives, the alien flora and fauna of each galaxy system factor into Adam Blaster's pursuit. In this way, each world offers an action/puzzle challenge to the player in navigation and alien contact.
