'Fate of the Dragon II' - Screens

by Rainier on Nov. 5, 2003 @ 11:56 a.m. PST

Object Software is working on a sequel for their Three Kingsdoms: Fate of The Dragon 3D RTS game (published by Eidos in 2001), working title for now is Fate of the Dragon II. No additional details are available yet so for now we'll have to settle for a batch of screens....

'Fate of the Dragon II' is a RTS game and it focuses on Generals, battles and completing missions. Although it uses its predecessor's title, 'Fate of the Dragon II' is completely different from FOD I and FOD/Dragon Throne. In a departure from traditional RTS gameplay, 'Fate of the Dragon II' will abandon the administration of domestic affairs of a kingdom and will concentrate on the role of Generals and military strategies. Battles will develop based on such factors as Generals, troop formations and terrain. Terrain, intelligence, martial skills or military strategies may turn defeat into victory in battle. Furthermore, with a large variety of types of troops and useful items from the period, the game will dramatically reproduce the wonderful battlefields and heroic figures of the time.
