Running With Scissors & Tri Synergy in Ménage à Trois

Running With Scissors, the pugnacious publisher and developer of POSTAL 2: Share The Pain, proclaimed that the contractual blood tests were back and that they could now safely hook-up with the morally casual distribution demons at Tri Synergy, Inc., the videogame co-publishing company that will be handling sales services for Running With Scissors in North America.

“I tried doing it with an idiot, bastard son,” said Running With Scissors' sharpest scissor, Vince Desi, as he drooled over a photo of Tamra Nestler, Tri Synergy's president and CEO, “but now I feel secure in the arms of the mother herself.”

Tri Synergy is a U.S.-based co-publishing company that specializes in the key areas of distribution, vendor relations and retail placement for both beloved and bemoaned videogame developers who self-publish. Running With Scissors is renowned for “being all they can be” in both those categories.

“When I started Tri Synergy, our main goal was to provide developers with a real alternative to game publishing,” said CEO Tamra Nestler, “and having RWS join us in the middle of their dilemma makes me believe that it's all been worth it. Our model is truly unique, and no matter who has tried to imitate us the fact remains, they don't get it right... It's a partnership.”

POSTAL 2: Share The Pain, the MULTIPLAYER Edition follow-up to the latest iteration of the wildly successful POSTAL franchise, is set for release in time for Christmas. Desi said an Xmas distribution deal was better than sex with Santa.

“Like any worthwhile relationship, timing is nearly everything,” Desi laughed with a lap full of jelly, “but we've had our fill of ‘nearly' as of late, and with our new title coming out and up-and-coming developers wanting to get on board, the future of the brand we built with our blood and our balls needed nurturing, not neutering.”

POSTAL 2: Share The Pain will soon be available for PC worldwide.
