'Agassi Tennis Generation' (PS2) Ships To Stores

by Rainier on Aug. 12, 2003 @ 12:03 a.m. PDT

DreamCatcher Games announced that it has shipped Agassi Tennis Generation on the PS2 in North America. This follows the successful launch on Game Boy Advance. Andre Agassi is the world's number one tennis player, and also one of the most successful, exciting and flamboyant. Now gamers can experience what it's like to be a tennis icon and play like Andre!

The game is a fast-paced tennis simulation, where players play as Agassi himself or one of 32 other players. Each player has subtle differences in character and individual styles of play to try and outwit Andre.

Featuring many of Agassi's trademark moves and realistic motion throughout, 3 different game modes are available (Quick Match, Arcade and Tournament). The game also features accurate ball physics and pin-point animation that enhances the game's presentation.

As in real life, players must master 4 different surfaces, and up to 4 players can take part in the same match (doubles) in 16 different countries.

Agassi Tennis Generation will ship to stores August 15, 2003 with an ESRB rating of E for Everyone.
